The Royal County of Berkshire Show
The staff at Marsh Fuels recently gave up their weekend on 17th & 18th September to represent our company at "The Royal County of Berkshire Show" known more fondly as the "Newbury Show" to us locals. Though the rain did its best to stop play, we brought a ray of sunshine to 4 lucky winners with a 'guess the number of balloons in the cab of the coal truck' competition to win 500 litres of heating oil... FREE! There were 3 runners up and one winner who have all been notified.
We enjoyed meeting both customers and past staff alike, one particular coal man from back in the days recalled a few stories of Carries father when he was 'a nipper in the yard'. Suffice to say they were all rewarded with tea and biscuits in our stand!
Carrie would like to express her thanks to all those who came to the stand with such wonderful memories and heartfelt hello's and also to all the staff and their partners and friends for continuing to smile through all the grotty weather that was thrown at us and for 'doing us proud'!
New Gas Oil Additive for Vehicles
This new Gas Oil additive is to be used with ALL machinery but NOT boilers that run on Gas Oil. The boilers must use Premium Heating Oil Additive for which enquiries should be made at our office.
Much as we would like to keep things simple, we have to now offer these treatments and additives as the government aligns everything to the EU and they are required to keep your systems running throughout the change!!!!
