Parent Organisation Project
We are supporting the Reading and West Berks Football League by making a donation to their 'Parent Organisation Project'. They are creating an App for the parents as a portal to keep them up to date with training, match and event schedules as well as other important information. The League are also creating booklet quarterly that will be sent out to all the parents giving them timetables for their children's activities..
Chieveley Pre-School Charity Auction
We are supporting the Chieveley Pre-School Charity Auction by donating 500 litres of home heating oil. As a small charity, and a parent lead Pre-School, we are looking for donations/promises that we can auction off to raise money to buy an iPad. The Pre-School staff would be using the iPad to help accurately track a child’s progress through a learning journal. The staff can then use this information to help plan for the next steps in the child’s learning.
Supporting Read College
Read College's quiz night raised £928. Thank you to everyone that took part, it proved a great success!
Thank you to all of our wonderful customers for all of their orders in November, raising £471 for the Movember Foundation.
Raising money for the elderly
We donated a hamper to the IBEX pub for their charity event to raise money to take local elderly group out to Christmas Dinner to combat isolation in old age. The event raised over £1,300. Visit their Facebook page below
Lesley Foden 'Around Britain'
We are supporting Lesley Foden on her 'Around Britain' row and have sponsored a leg of her adventure.
She is rowing 1800 miles in 8 weeks with 24 hour rowing to raise awareness and is hoping to fundraise at least £20,000 for RNLI and Sea-Changers who address marine plastic pollution. Visit her site below. Please sponsor if you can!
Carrie completed '10,000 steps a Day Walk Over Cancer' for Cancer Research in June and raised just over £700 after adding gift aid.
It is not too late to try and sneak this total up to £1,000 by donating.
